A Family Foundation.
A Skincare Vision.
Long before he built his own skincare companies, Samuel Raoof was immersed in the world of dermatology. Growing up in his parents’ practice, he saw firsthand the trust patients placed in their providers and the opportunity to give those providers better skincare options to recommend.
In 2003, Samuel turned that insight into a vision. He founded Neutraderm, building its manufacturing operations from the ground up to develop and produce physician-grade skincare. That same year, he launched brandMD, giving medical professionals the ability to offer skincare under their own practice names.
The expertise he developed through brandMD became the foundation for DRMTLGY, which he co-founded to bring his professional skincare experience to a broader consumer audience.

Neutraderm
Founder & CEO
Founded in 2003, Neutraderm began in an 800-square-foot office with a small formulation lab. When Samuel saw that outside manufacturers could not meet the demands of high-active, technology-based skincare, he moved the company into a 3,000-square-foot facility of its own, where he obtained its drug manufacturing license and brought development and production under one roof.
Today, Neutraderm spans a three-building campus in Chatsworth, with more than 150,000 square feet of space dedicated to bringing skincare products to life. From its FDA-registered, cGMP-compliant facility, the company produces millions of units every month for pharmaceutical companies in the skincare sector, retailers and skincare brands, including brandMD and DRMTLGY.

brandMD
Founder & CEO
Samuel Raoof saw an opportunity to give medical professionals something more: innovative, high-quality skincare they could confidently recommend to their patients and proudly offer under their own practice name. That vision became brandMD.
Available exclusively to licensed medical professionals, brandMD brings together advanced skincare technology and the personal connection between a provider and their patients. Each practice can make the collection its own, building a skincare brand that reflects the care and expertise its patients already trust.
What sets brandMD apart is its thoughtful, synergistic approach to skincare. Each formula combines complementary ingredients and technologies to address skin concerns from multiple angles.
Since 2003, brandMD has served more than 3,000 physicians, reflecting Samuel’s commitment to helping medical professionals build skincare brands of their own.
